President Jokowi Inaugurates Infrastructure In North Sumatra And Provides Assistance To Traders
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to North Sumatra on Wednesday 2 February, to inaugurate a number of infrastructures and also distribute cash assistance to traders.
From Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang City, Banten, the President, and his entourage took off using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft on Wednesday morning.
Arriving at Silangit International Airport, North Tapanuli Regency, the President will continue his journey to Toba Regency to inspect and inaugurate the Balige "bypass" road. The President was then scheduled to hand over direct cash assistance to traders at Porsea Market, Toba Regency.
After that, the President will review and inaugurate the arrangement of the Parapat-Free Beach Area and the Parapat Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) at Parapat-Free Beach, Simalungun Regency.

After that, the President will head to Ajibata Port, Toba Regency, to inaugurate the port, along with six other ports and four passenger motor boats (KMP) before leaving anchor for Samosir Regency by ferry.
In Samosir Regency, the President is scheduled to inaugurate the arrangement of the Huta Siallagan Area and hand over direct cash assistance for souvenir and souvenir traders. The President will also review the arrangement of the Huta Raja area and inaugurate the Ulos Huta Raja Village in Pangururan District.
Also accompanying the President on the flight to North Sumatra Province were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Military Secretary of the President of the Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, and the Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
