Positive Cases Of COVID-19 In Sleman Rise Again After Sloping
SLEMAN - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force for Handling COVID-19 in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region noted that this week the addition of positive confirmed cases continued to move up, after briefly sloping down.
"In a week since Monday, January 24 until today, the number of confirmed cases continues to move up", said Sleman District COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson, Shavitri Nurmaladewi, in Sleman, as reported by Antara on Friday, January 28.
According to her, the public is still asked to be vigilant and disciplined in enforcing health protocols (prokes) so that the spread of COVID-19 does not expand.
"In addition to COVID-19 vaccination, health care discipline remains the key in controlling the spread of COVID-19", she said.
The addition of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sleman was recorded on Monday, January 24, four positive confirmed cases and four patients declared cured.
On Tuesday, January 25, 16 positive confirmed cases increased, one recovered and one died. Meanwhile, Wednesday, January 26, there were 10 additional positive confirmed cases, two recovered. On Thursday, January 27, the positive confirmed cases increased by 15 cases, and two cases were recovered.
"Meanwhile, the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased, namely 37 cases and three cases have recovered", she said.

The Head of the Sleman District Health Office, Cahya Purnama, admitted that in the last few days positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sleman showed an increasing number, one of which was the emergence of family clusters.
"Family clusters have emerged, this is due to family members traveling outside the region", she said.
Meanwhile, based on the epidemiological map of the Sleman District Health Office at the end of January 2022, the number of sub-districts in Sleman that are included in the green zone has decreased, from 71 urban villages to 68 urban villages.
Meanwhile, there has been an increase in the number of villages that are included in the red zone, which is three times from two villages to six villages. There are 10 sub-districts in the yellow zone and two in the orange zone.
