App Store Officially Present In Browser, Can Find Applications Without Apple Devices Needed

JAKARTA - Apple has finally officially launched its app store, the App Store in the website version, which allows users to explore, search and share applications, without requiring Apple devices.

Over the years, Apple's website at the "apps.apple.com" address only displays pages of each app. No main pages, no lists of selected categories or content, and also no actual search features.

However, starting November 3, Apple is quietly turning the site into a complete App Store version that can be accessed via a browser. The main change is, the user's ease of browsing the app.

Launching AppleInsider, now, you can open apps.apple.com and find a familiar design that reflects the App Store experience on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

The new site includes today's tab, editorial recommendations, charts, Apple Arcade titles, and a natatively functioning search bar in the browser.

In addition, Apple has also launched iOS 26.1 in a stable version on Monday, November 3. After the operating system (OS) is launched, the company will test the next version of the OS.

iOS 26.1 will bring some small changes, one of which is a new 'Tinted' button for the Liquid Glass feature. This button is launched to increase reading, but has the potential to sacrifice interface aesthetics.

Not many new features are seen in this version because Apple seems to be focused on the next OS. iOS 26.2 Beta will reportedly launch alongside other Apple devices OS such as iPadOS 26.2 and macOS 26.2.
