OpenAI Will Offer ChatGPT Enterprise Services To US Government At The Cheapest Price

JAKARTA OpenAI has succeeded in being one step ahead of Google and Anthropic through its latest announcement. The company is now officially partnering with the US Public Service Agency (GSA).

Through this partnership, OpenAI offers transformative initiatives by offering ChatGPT Enterprise for all levels of federal executives. They can use its services for free starting next year after the agency pays annual fees.

OpenAI also sets a very affordable price, which is only 1 US dollar or around Rp. 16,000 per institution. Through this service offer, OpenAI wants to support the US President Donald Trump's administration's plan to provide sophisticated devices.

"(via this initiative) workers can spend less time on bureaucracy and documents, and more time doing what they aim to come to public services: serving the American people," OpenAI wrote in a statement.

An agreement between OpenAI and GSA was found a day after the agency added OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic to the approved AI vendor list. This indicates that all three companies can offer their services to the government.

AI services can be offered through the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), a federal contract platform created to make it easier for government agencies to obtain AI tools. Through MAS, institutions no longer need to negotiate contracts individually with vendors.

In addition to offering a very low and almost free price, OpenAI also offers the use of state-of-the-art models for an additional 60 days. That way, government employees can access ChatGPT Enterprise for one year and two months without additional costs.

"Every US federal agency participating will have access to our leading models through ChatGPT Enterprise," OpenAI said. "During an additional 60-day period, OpenAI will provide unlimited access to advanced models and features, such as Deep Research and Advanced Voice Mode."
