JAKARTA - Kaspersky announced it had signed an AI pact from the European Commission, to prepare organizations for the implementation of the AI Law, the first comprehensive legal framework on AI worldwide, adopted by the European Union (EU).

The signing of the pledge reflects Kaspersky's broader commitment to promoting and facilitating the wise and responsible use of AI technology, acknowledging the importance of this stance in cybersecurity.

Kaspersky founder and CEO, Eugene Kaspersky confirmed that this signing aims to ensure that the push to innovate is balanced with the right risk management, amid the rapid development of AI technology.

"We are pleased to join the ranks of organizations working to help companies responsibly and safely benefit from AI technology," said Eugene.

He is committed that Kaspersky will work hard to advance ethical and transparent AI practices and contribute to building trust in this technology.

By signing the pledge, Kaspersky has taken three core commitments related to the use of AI technology, namely:
