JAKARTA - During the Xbox Developer_Direct event, developer Turn 10 Studios and publisher Xbox Game Studios announced that the latest series will be coming to PC and next-generation consoles later this year.

"Today, at Developer_Direct, we showcased the new look of Forza Motorsport and how we make games look real, sound real, and feel real through our cars, tracks, and audio that deliver a generational leap in fidelity, immersion, and realism," said the developer in Twitter.

At launch, Forza Motorsport will feature over 500 lifelike cars for you to collect, a huge variety of races, as well as 800 unique upgrades and special modifications for you to use.

In addition to the number of cars, Xbox has also enhanced its appearance using a spectrophotometer, which captures multiple data points on the behavior of light on a surface. With this technique, the car's paint model will have a more realistic light response across colors, metal chips, and gloss levels.

On top of that, Xbox is also bringing racing to five new Motorsport locations including the first in South Africa, Kyalami.

With all the use of state-of-the-art visual technology, including tens of thousands of fully animated 3D spectators, every player will feel immersed in the spectacle of the races.

Forza Motorsport will have dynamic timing with the weather including track temperature, wet road surfaces, and the rubber on each track so no two rounds will play the same.

"We've also partnered with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos to create even more immersive audio compositions for the next generation of Forza Motorsport," he added.

Whenever the game launches, Forza Motorsport is coming later this year to Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Steam, and Cloud Gaming (Beta).
