Opensignal Analysis: Biznet And Oxygen.id Superior From Segi Velocity Download And Upload

JAKARTA Opensignal shares the results of an analysis related to the experience of fixed broadband users in Indonesia. This experience consists of five main categories, ranging from reliability to quality consistency.

There are eight Internet Service Providers (ISP) who are included in the testing list, including Biznet Home, CBN, Icon Plus, IndiHome, Indosat HiFi, MyRepublic, Oxygen.id, and XL Home. These eight ISPs are evaluated based on five metrics, namely reliability, experience, download speed, upload speed, and quality consistency.

XL Home excels in terms of reliability with a Reliability Experience score of 463 points, from a scale of 100-1000. This metric measures how consistently households can connect to the internet and successfully complete tasks such as browsing or video streaming.

"This metric assesses the entire user experience, from the initial connection to the completion of the task," explained Opensignal, quoted on Wednesday, November 26. XL Home managed to outperform Indosat HiFi and Biznet Home in this category.

In terms of speed, Biznet Home won the Download Speed award with a score of 37.8Mbps, outperforming XL Home by a 9 percent margin. This shows the power of Biznet in large-capacity data shipments.

However, the Upload Speed award was won by Oxygen.id, beating Biznet Home by a narrow margin of 0.6Mbps. The high upload speed is very important for users who do remote work and share large files.

Meanwhile, Indosat HiFi and XL Home were named winners along with the Quality Consistency award. Both won a score of 68.7 to 68.9 percent. This high percentage meets the minimum performance threshold.

This minimum performance threshold is important for doing important tasks such as watching HD videos, completing group video conferencing calls, and playing games. This advantage shows the two ISPs provide stable network performance.
