JAKARTA TikTok launched a new feature called the Bulletin Board or the Bulletin Board. Similar to the Instagram Channel concept, this feature is designed as a means of public communication from one to many people.

With this feature, brands or creators can share messages with followers directly. The hope is that by presenting this feature, creators can also build or get closer to their followers' communities.

Just like the Broadcast Channel on Instagram, only creators or owners of the Bulletin Board are allowed to send messages. Followers on the newsletter board can only interact by leaving reactions in the form of emojis on shipments.

This feature supports various content formats, including text, images, and videos. Although accessible to all creators, this feature is only available to those over 18 years of age. Creators must also have at least 50,000 followers.

This strict rule is implemented so that the features are still used safely and on purpose. TikTok also expressed its commitment to the safety and quality of content in this new feature.

"Like everything on TikTok, all content must comply with our Community Guidelines," TikTok explained in its official blog post. TikTok added that the implementation of these guidelines uses a combination of human technology and moderators.

To start the Bulletin Board, creators can access these options in their inbox and select a unique name. Creators can also enable or disable 'Show in the profile' settings to control their visibility.

Users who want to join simply click the name Buletin Papan that appears under the biodata creator on their profile page. After joining, followers will receive notifications in their inbox whenever the creator makes a new post.
