Golkar Collaborates With Two Technology Companies, Launches AI-Based Digital Platform For Party Modernization

JAKARTA The Golkar Party officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Teknologi Progress Bangsa (TKB) and PT Software Atom Indonesia to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Golkar Party Information Digital Platform. This step is an important milestone in the digital transformation of parties towards modern and integrated governance.

The signing was carried out at the Golkar Party DPP office, Slipi, West Jakarta, by the Secretary General of the Golkar Party DPP, Muhammad Sarmuji; President Director of PT Teknologi Progress Bangsa, Munawir Nona; and CEO of PT Software Atom Indonesia, Mahesh Mirzanhani.

In the memorandum of understanding numbered 3/MoU/DPP/GOLKAR/X/2025, Golkar emphasized its commitment to building a digital system that is able to strengthen internal communication, transparency of cadre information, and reporting real-time AI-based at all levels of organization from the center to the regions.

PT Software Atom Indonesia will be tasked with developing a digital technology-based application system according to party needs. Meanwhile, PT Teknologi Progress Bangsa, which is Entomo's local partner in Indonesia, will be responsible for its implementation, data integration, and user training within Golkar.

This AI-based digital platform is designed so that all activity information, cadre legislative achievements, and inter-party communication can run efficiently and accurately. With a real-time analytic system, Golkar hopes to be able to accelerate data-based decision making and improve the quality of party services to the public.

"This cooperation is not just a technology project, but a symbol of the new direction of political parties in the digital era," said Nurul Arifin, Head of the Golkar Party's Opinion Raising Media Division (MPO). We will ensure that the implementation is safe, efficient, and in accordance with the needs of the party.

Meanwhile, for PT Software Atom Indonesia, this collaboration will be an example of how AI can be used to strengthen the governance of large organizations such as political parties. Entomo himself has succeeded in 10 countries, and wants to ensure that the experience brings benefits to the Golkar Party.

This MoU is valid for two years and can be extended based on mutual agreement. Later, the Joint Working Team formed from the three parties will design design, features, and system architecture, before being outlined in a more detailed Cooperation Agreement (PKS).

Golkar's move marks a new breakthrough in the political landscape of Indonesia shows that political parties can also take advantage of AI technology not only for campaigns, but also for internal efficiency and transparency.

This digital transformation, if successful, could become a new model for political parties in the country to balance traditions with innovation.
