Huawei Releases Nova 14i With Snapdragon Chip And Jumbo Battery 7,000mAh

JAKARTA - Huawei officially launched Nova 14i for the international market. This latest smartphone comes as a refresher from old models such as Enjoy 60x and Nova Y91 which were released in 2023, but is now repackaged with a new name to remain relevant in 2025.

The Huawei Nova 14i is equipped with a 6.95-inch LCD screen with a FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 270Hz touch sampling rate for a faster touch response.

8GB Snapdragon And RAM Performance

In the performance sector, this phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, combined with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options.

Huawei provides two color variants, namely Blue and Black, both using spinning glass finishing with a large circular camera module on the back. The module houses two cameras and an LED flash.

7,000mAh Battery, Tipis For Class

One of Nova 14i's main advantages is the battery with a capacity of 7,000mAh. Even so, the body is still fairly sleek with a thickness of only 8.9mm. Huawei claims this phone is capable of providing up to 26 hours of video playback or 60 hours of phone calls at a time of charging.

50MP Cameras And Additional Features

For photography needs, Nova 14i comes with a 50MP main camera combined with a 2MP depth sensor on the back. As for selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with a pill-shaped notch design.

This phone runs EMUI 14.2, although Huawei has actually released EMUI 15 for their latest device. Interestingly, there is also a special "X button" button on the side of the programmable device to unlock the favorite widget or app with a single tap or long press.

Although specifications and designs have been officially introduced, Huawei has not announced the official price of Nova 14i. Information on the availability and price of devices is expected to be announced in the near future.
