Mark Zuckerberg: Meta Will Bring Super Intelligence To All Humans

JAKARTA Meta continues to improve the capabilities of their Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to achieve super intelligence or intelligence. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also looks optimistic about this vision.

Zuckerberg, in a written letter, stated that Meta managed to improve its AI system. Although still running slowly, Zuckerberg believes that his company is capable of achieving this super technology.

"Over the past few months, we have begun to glimpse the upgrade of our AI system. The upgrade is indeed slow for now, but undisputed. The development of super intelligence is now in sight," Zuckerberg said, quoted on Thursday, July 31.

Zuckerberg also predicts that AI will perfect all existing systems in the world. In fact, AI with capabilities that exceed humans is considered to be able to create something inconceivable in the future.

"Super intelligence has the potential to start a new era of personal empowerment where humans will have a larger agency to improve the world in the direction they choose," Zuckerberg said. "I am very optimistic that super intelligence will help humanity."

In line with the creation of this super intelligence, Meta is committed to providing such access to all individuals. Unlike other parties' views, Meta believes that this technology should not be centrally directed to help humans achieve their goals.

"The impact between technology and human way of life is Meta's focus, and this will become increasingly important in the future," Zuckerberg said. "We believe the benefits of superintelligence should be shared with the world as wide as possible."

Meta realizes that super intelligence will raise new concerns about security. Therefore, Meta is committed to closely mitigate risks and is careful in choosing open sources.
