JAKARTA Zoom launched a dedicated application for Meta Quest headsets. The app, which is available for free on the Meta Horizon Store, can hold an online meeting using the Meta Avatar.
This is an upgrade because previously Zoom was only accessible by subscription. This video conferencing application has been available on Quest since 2023, but is only available via the Horizon Workspace app for paid users.
Now, not only provides the ability to meet with Zoom Avatars, users can also use Zoom for free. This application can be accessed through the Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, Quest Pro, and Quest 2.
"The Zoom app is available free on the Meta Horizon Store," Meta said on its official website, quoted on Wednesday, July 9. "Just open the store, download the app, and log in with the same profile you use on your phone or desktop."

When users are in an unsuited condition to have a meeting or just want to have fun, they can now use Meta Avatars. The use of Meta Avatars will not interfere with the Zoom experience.
