JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is collaborating with the University of Tokyo Japan to develop an artificial intelligence education curriculum (AI) in Indonesia.
Deputy Minister of Komdigi, Nezar Patria, hopes that this collaboration will be able to improve digital knowledge and skills to develop AI technology-based solutions.
"From what Professor Yutaka Matsuo has offered, this collaboration in developing the Artificial Intelligence education curriculum is very interesting. He offers the development of technical things such as digital knowledge and digital skills," Nezar said in his official broadcast.
In addition, Nezar also said that Yutaka Matsuo also offered cooperation in implementing AI in daily activities, and could follow Japan's example in using AI to strengthen its business.
Although still in the early discussion stage, he believes the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and Yutaka Matsuo are quite interested in exploring cooperation with the Ministry of Communication and Industry.
According to him, as an AI technology expert who has been an advisor to the Japanese Government, Yutaka Matsuo can bring industrial needs closer to AI-based technology development to improve AI capabilities among Japanese people.
