JAKARTA - A developer has successfully run Windows 11 ARM on the iPad Air M2 using the emulation method. This success was made possible thanks to the new EU regulation through the Digital Markets Act (DMA) which facilitates the process of sideloading applications on iOS and iPadOS devices.
Reported by Windows Latest, a developer named NTDev shared the demonstration on social media and uploaded a demonstration video to YouTube. He showed how the Windows 11 operating system can run on the iPad Air M2 using the UTM emulation application, which is now easier to install thanks to third-party app stores such as the AltStore Classic.

One of the key features that allows this is the Just-In-Time (JIT) compliance support, which is enabled using the AltStore companion app called StikDebug. Without having to jailbreak, this feature allows Windows to run more smoothly on iPadOS.
Use Tiny11 For Maximum Performance
This is not the first time Windows 11 has been displayed on tablet devices. Previously, this operating system was also successfully run on several Android devices such as OnePlus and Xiaomi. However, thanks to DMA regulations from the European Union, now iPad users have a more free option to install systems that were previously not possible.
