Google Officially Introduces Pixel 9A, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA Google officially introduced its newest mid-range phone, namely the Pixel 9A. This phone gets a lot of improvements, from the updated design and chipset to the upgraded camera.

The body behind the Pixel 9A with the previous generation of phones looks very different. When compared, the Pixel 8A makes the camera more prominent, while the appearance of the Pixel 9A body remains as flat as the phone in general.

Google also claims that its newest phone is flatter and slimmer. In addition, the edge of the body is also made rounder. For the screen, Pixel 9A uses a 6.3-inch Actua which is claimed to be the brightest screen used by series A phones.

The Pixel 9A comes in four colors, including Peony which is a bright pink, Iris which is a light purple, Porcelain which is white, and Obsidian which is black. Peony and Iris became the colors that were highlighted at the launch this time.

Google promises the best camera on this latest phone even though it costs only $499, equivalent to IDR 8.2 million. This phone uses a dual rear camera with an ultra-wide 13MP, while the front camera is 48MP.

Like the previous year, the Pixel 9A still got the Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature for its camera. There are three new features added and Google still includes old features such as Magic Eraser, Astrophotography, or Audio Magic Eraser.

Google did not disclose the battery capacity of this device. However, the Pixel 9A is claimed to be able to last up to 30 hours in one charge. If using the Extreme Battery Saver mode, this phone can last up to 100 hours.

The phone, which is equipped with IP68 certification, has received operating system (OS) support for seven years, including regular security updates. This means that this phone can continue to be updated even though it has been used for more than five years.
