Gboard Capai 10 Billion Downloads On Google Play Store

JAKARTA Gboard, a typing application developed by Google, has achieved the latest download target. As of February 26, the application has been downloaded more than 10 billion times on the Google Play Store.

This application was launched in June 2013 so that Gboard reached 10 billion downloads in almost 12 years. Apparently, the increase in the number of downloads was influenced by the disappearance of the Google Keyboard application several years ago.

In the past, Andorid devices used Google Keyboard as a digital typing application. However, since December 2016, Gboard has become a replacement application for Google Keyboard. Since then, the number of Gboard downloads has increased significantly.

The number of mobile phones from various brands continues to increase every year so that Gboard downloads by default continue to occur. In the next few years, this application could be downloaded up to 100 billion times on Android phones.

When compared to other typing applications such as Microsoft Swiftkey Keyboard, Gboard has several exclusive features. Users can translate text directly with Gooogle Translate support in the application.

In addition, there are also Google Lens and billboard-based scanners. Users can also change the background according to the themes offered, change the size of the height to enlarge the keyboard display, or make the keyboard mine.

Although downloaded by default on Android phones, Gboaord can also be shared on tablets. In addition, this digital typing application is also available on Wear OS which provides support for reply to messages and Android TV or Google TV.
