Apple Releases First Generation IPhone 18 Years Ago

JAKARTA iPhone, one of Apple's leading products, is now 18 years old. This device, which is popular in various parts of the world, especially Indonesia, has a very long history of travel.

Apple introduced the first generation iPhone in 2007. At that time, the tech giant was still led by Steve Jobs. Many praised the first iPhone, but not a few also criticized it after its device was released.

This happens because the price offered by Apple is considered too expensive. The first iPhone has two versions of capacity, namely 4GB and 8GB. The screen offered is 3.5 inches and the camera is still 2MP. However, the iPhone presents a new multi-touch feature at that time.

Some may think that the price of IDR 8 million is too expensive for the first iPhone, but some people still like the device. Not a few agree that Apple's technology is much better than other popular phones.

The iPhone's journey continues. The following year, the company launched the iPhone 3G with the most advanced network of its time, the iPhone 4 with a system called iOS 4, iPhone 5 with a 4-inch screen, and others to reach the iPhone 16 series.

In the past, Apple only launched one device each year. Apple only provides two models in one year when releasing the iPhone 5 series. This habit continued to grow until Apple finally launched four iPhone models in a year.

The increase in the iPhone is also felt from year to year. Like mobile phones from other leading manufacturers, the iPhone was first released at a very small capacity, but at that time it was quite large because the need for community digitization was still small.

After a dozen years in the smartphone market, the iPhone is finally available with 1TB capacity. This capacity is in accordance with user needs, especially since the iPhone is now equipped with a very sophisticated feature, not just a sharp camera.

After Apple Intelligence was released, iPhone users needed more mobile phone capacity. However, Apple still provides 128GB capacity for the standard model so users may have to think about using iCloud in the future.

Although the device is well known worldwide and is widely purchased for its features and cameras, Apple is still innovating on the latest models. This year, Apple may release the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone 17 Air with a very slim body.
