Opensignal: Telkomsel Will Again Experience Indonesia's Cellular Network In 2024

JAKARTA - Global cellular analytics company Opensignal has released a new analytical article entitled "Indonesian Cellular Network Experience Report December 2024.

Through this report, Opensignal tested the cellular network experience of five major cellular network operators in Indonesia - 3, IM3, Smartfren, Telkomsel, and XL, during August 1 to October 29, 2024, to find out how they perform.

This Opensignal report shows that Telkomsel is consistently superior in various categories of cellular network experience in Indonesia.

In the Overall Experience category, Telkomsel is the winner in all aspects, including Video Experience, Games Experience, Voice App Experience, Download Speed Experience, and Upload Speed Experience.

As for the 5G experience (5G Experience), Telkomsel dominates in most categories, such as 5G Video Experience, 5G Games Experience, 5G Download Speed, and 5G Upload Speed, as well as sharing titles on 5G Voice App Experience with XL.

Telkomsel won the title for the Download Speed Experience, with a score of 26.3 Mbps, followed by XL in second place, with about 1Mbps behind the main winner.

In terms of coverage (Coverage), Telkomsel leads with the best performance in Coverage Experience, Availability, and 5G Availability. Telkomsel leads with a score of 8.6 points from a scale of 10 points and a margin of 3.6 points from 3 and IM3 who are in second place with the same score, which is five points.

In addition, this report also sees bahw Telkomsel as superior in the consistency category, including Consistent Quality and Reliability Experience.
