Odoo Software Company Inaugurates Its First Office In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Odoo, a global company as well as an open-source business platform from Belgium, inaugurated its first office in Southeast Asia, on November 8, 2024, located at Biomedical Campus, Digital Hub, BSD City.

With 12 million users worldwide, Odoo is one of the companies that offers the world's most popular business management software solutions.

Odoo's SaaS (Software as a Service) service includes applications that meet various business needs such as accounting, inventory, manufacturing, project management, human resources, marketing, website creators, and more.

The construction of facilities available at the Biomedical Campus and support for the Digital Hub environment will allow Odoo Indonesia to innovate closer to the local and regional technology community.

"I firmly believe that this is a very big opportunity to educate about the importance of the right software to accelerate the development of businesses in Indonesia," said Director of Odoo Indonesia, Benny Putra in his official statement on Wednesday, November 20.

According to Benny, in addition to the complete features, the very competitive price of Odoo is also a major factor that can attract many users from various industries and sectors in Indonesia.

The CEO of Digital Tech Ecosystem & Development Sinar Mas Land, Irawan Harahap also believes that the presence of Odoo Indonesia at Biomedical Campus is a very strategic and important step in strengthening the technology ecosystem in Indonesia.

Irawan also admitted that he was optimistic that the presence of Odoo Indonesia would open up more opportunities for the industry, create new jobs, and accelerate the development of local companies that are ready to adopt digital solutions more effectively.
