JAKARTA Less than two weeks, Bluesky managed to attract nearly two million new users. Many are interested in using this application because it is considered better than its competitors, such as Threads and X.
With this surge in user numbers, expectations against Bluesky are even higher. Apparently, Bluesky has no objection to expectations from its users because they continue to promise things that are contrary to the controversy of its competitors.
X once stated that they would coach Grok, a virtual assistant based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), with texts made by its users. On November 15, X said that they were starting to analyze user text to train its AI.
Shortly after this statement was made, Bluesky said that they really appreciate its users, including artists and creators. That way, they won't use user data to train any AI models.
"A number of artists and creators have made Bluesky their home and we hear their concerns about other platforms training their data. We don't use your content to train generative AI," said Bluesky.

The platform founded by one of the Twitter founders revealed that they also use AI internally. However, this technology is used to assist them in moderating content on its platform.
"(AI) helps us sort out posts and protect human moderators from harmful content. We also use AI in algorithmic Discover feeds to present posts that we think you will like," explains Bluesky.
Bluesky again emphasized that they have never trained their Generative AI system with user content. This is done to respect and appreciate its users who believe that Bluesky will not act like X.
