Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs Says 2024 Election Desk Recorded 296 Complaints Until November

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto revealed that Desk Pilkada had received 296 complaints during November 2024.

"Specifically, we can convey that in November there will be 296 hotlines coming in," Bima said in a hearing with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday, November 18, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the complaints were mostly from Yogyakarta and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

The reported complaints are the neutrality of ASN, the dynamics of debate and campaign for regional head pairs. Then, security issues, logistics to conflicts between supporters.

Bima emphasized that all the complaints would be followed up and coordinated with the KPU, Bawaslu, TNI and Polri. The Ministry of Home Affairs also continues to monitor and evaluate strategic issues.

"Don't let it all have an impact on the preparations for voting later," he said.

For information, the Ministry of Trade has built the Desk Pilkada service. In this service, the various potential conflicts that occur in the regions can be monitored for 24 hours.

Then, data collected in the Pilkada Decree can also be updated in real time and analyzed comprehensively. Thus, the opportunity for conflict can be prevented immediately.
