JAKARTA Google is again experimenting with the Discover display, a feature that displays a variety of information with a personalized system. On the latest display, this feature will remove some shortcut tabs.

Over the past few months, Discover has not seen many changes. The features that can be found in almost all Android-based devices still display search bars, information recommendations in the form of YouTube articles and videos, to related product ads.

Overall, the contents will remain the same. However, based on the findings of 9to5google, the company removed the horizontal line to separate content. The website display and URL address will be placed in the same column.

Tabs displayed at the bottom of the screen also change. Currently, Discover displays four different tabs, namely Home, Search, Save, and Notification. In the latest view, Discover will remove Save shortcuts.

In addition, Google has also added a new feature in the vertical three-dot icon or the More option. Previously, this option displayed seven different menu options. Once updated, the menu is reduced and Google added the Save and Share features.

This change is starting to appear in the Google beta version 15.43 update and can only be seen by a small number of users. It's not yet known when Google will expand the Discover view they're testing.

However, keep in mind that not everything visible in beta can be released into a more stable version. Google often conducts experiments on its product design so there's a possibility this change won't be released.
