JAKARTA - The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri arrived at the 024 Voting Station (TPS), Jalan Kebagusan IV Dalam, Kebagusan Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta, Jakarta, Wednesday, at 11.14 WIB.

Based on ANTARA's observation at the location, she was greeted with the Betawi dance. The daughter of the Proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno arrived at TPS 024 wearing white clothes wrapped in a red scarf.

Megawati arrived at the TPS with her child, namely the Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani and Muhammad Prananda Prabowo. In addition, Megawati's grandson, Diah Pikatan Orissa Putri Hapsari, was seen.

Megawati's name was summoned by the Head of the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) 024 Resa Friansyah at 11.15 WIB.

"On behalf of Megawati Taufiq," said Resa.

Megawati then took a ballot letter and headed to the far-right booth at TPS 024. Megawati completed using her voting rights at 11.17 WIB.

After that, Megawati put the ballot letter into the ballot box, dip her right hand finger, and showed it to the media crew. Not to forget, the General Chairperson of the PDIP DPP threw a knot smile at the media crew who were photographing him.

After using her voting rights, Megawati is scheduled to monitor the results of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections at her residence. Data from the Indonesian KPU that the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada will be followed by 37 provinces, 415 districts, and 93 cities.

The total pair of candidates who will compete in the Simultaneous Pilkada reached 1,557 pairs of candidates, consisting of 1,169 pairs of candidates for regent and deputy regent as well as 285 pairs of candidates for mayor and deputy mayor.
