Meta Boss Says Meta AI Has Exceeded 500 Million Users

JAKARTA - During its latest Earning Calls Q3, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Meta AI surpassed 500 million users.

The number of users reaching half a billion comes just a year after the social network first launched its AI assistant globally in September 2023.

However, Zuckerberg still has ambitions if his AI assistant can become the most widely used AI assistant until the end of 2024. However, he did not explain the company's steps in realizing this.

Apparently, Meta AI isn't the only successful AI product. Because Zuck said last month on the Meta Connect, that the company's AI journey was on the "right path".

In his latest report, Zuckerberg also said that the increase in AI in his feed and video recommendations had resulted in an 8 percent increase in the time spent on Facebook and 5 percent on Instagram.

In addition, advertisers also used Meta AI tools, he said, with more than 15 million ads made with a generative AI just last month. "We believe that there are more advantages here," Zuckerberg told Engadget.
