Meutya Hafid Instructs Efficiency And Innovation For New Transformation

JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid instructed his staff to implement efficiency and innovation in dealing with government changes for the new digital transformation.

According to Meutya, this is a message and direction also conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto for all members of the Red and White Cabinet.

"He gives us the authority to switch to doing things in our respective leadership. I as Ministers, Deputy Ministers as Deputy Ministers, Director General and Lower, dare to make changes," Meutya said quoting Antara.

According to Meutya Hafid, the spirit of change is needed to realize the government's target under President Prabowo Subianto. Therefore, he mentioned that the Ministry of Communication and Industry needs to form a super team that is able to work well together to realize the target of Asta Cita.

"The super team he means is a team that supports each other, is solid, ensures that the work is carried out properly, and reaches the expected targets," he explained.

Meutya advised the leadership at the Ministry of Communication and Digo to be able to encourage its members to make the team already formed to have the super team-style capabilities.

With the existence of a super team in each directorate and directorate general, it is hoped that later the super team will be able to collaborate better and finally bring success together, especially for Indonesia.

"This is important because to accelerate the achievement of targets, it takes people who have the same spirit and understanding," concluded Meutya.

During his inaugural visit as Minister of Trade on Monday (21/10), Meutya Hafid said that within his first 100 working days he was targeting the creation of a secure digital space and equal distribution of the internet in the outermost, frontier, and underdeveloped (3T) areas.

"I am according to orders, the order is what the public wants, we try to accommodate many of them while I am in Commission I, including some digital security that is entrusted seriously," said Meutya Hafid at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs Office, Jakarta, Monday.
