Cardano (ADA) is predicted to be able to surpass the largest crypto assets namely Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in the next few decades. This was revealed by Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, at the Cardano Summit event held in Argentina.

Hoskinson also explained his vision that the blockchain network he was building would play an important role in digital infrastructure. According to Cardano founders, in the next ten years, Cardano is expected to surpass the Ethereum scale, and a decade later, Cardano will outperform Bitcoin as reported by Cryptodnes.

This statement is inseparable from Cardano's advantage of using advanced technology, especially in terms of decentralized governance. This makes Cardano's network superior to other blockchain networks. In fact, Hoskinson estimates that in the future, many governments will use Cardano as part of their digital system.

This statement does sound ambitious, especially considering Cardano (ADA) is currently ranked 11th in crypto market capitalization, well below Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) which occupy the top two positions.

However, Hoskinson remains confident that Cardano has the potential to surpass both of them. He stressed that Cardano's decentralization technology allows this network to be more resilient in facing various challenges in the future.

According to Hoskinson, the key to Cardano's success lies in the decentralization governance that distinguishes it from other blockchain projects that are often supported by large funds from venture capital investors. He criticized a centralized business model of a handful of parties who were considered to be at odds with the basic principles of blockchain that should be open and decentralistic. Hoskinson argues that true decentralization will create greater trust among users, including the government.

Hoskinson also highlighted the importance of the Voltaire era in Cardano development, which will introduce a full governance system in which communities have greater votes in managing networks. He stressed that this is what Cardano will distinguish from other blockchains that are more concentrated on the power of a handful of parties.
