JAKARTA Bluesky is now trying to pull Threads users into its platform by creating an official account. Not only creating an account, Bluesky also created a thread by alluding to content moderation issues.

Over the past few days, Threads users have criticized the platform they are using because it is considered to have a bad content moderation system. The reason is, Threads often delete and limit accounts because the system reads the action incorrectly.

When Threads users complain a lot about this issue, Bluesky tries to get their attention by discussing the content moderation system on its platform. The platform created by the Twitter founder revealed that they have two moderation systems.

The first system is an active human moderation team for 24 hours to monitor user actions according to community guidelines, while other moderation systems are decisions from independent organizations in the open ecosystem.

Despite implementing content moderation, Bluesky insists that they have never lowered the ranking of political content. Bluesky claims that they welcome political content, news, or other important topics that are often limited on social media.

"We also have an open ecosystem that can be superimposed, where independent organizations can issue their own moderation decisions and users can subscribe to organizations they trust," Bluesky said in a thread.

To convince Threads users to switch to Bluesky, the butterfly logo platform alludes to the algorithm. Bluesky said that they did not randomly change the account ranking.

"We don't have a black box algorithm that raises/lows ranks in a way that looks random. The best way to get involved is to involve other people!" Bluesky explained.
