JAKARTA Meta will promote Imagined for You, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based image maker, in a new way. This tool will appear on Meta's social media feed, namely Facebook and Instagram.

The company explained that the Imagine feature, part of Meta AI, is currently being tested. It is not clear whether this feature is tested on a small scale and it is not yet known when its features will be released in a stable version to all users.

According to Meta's explanation, the features that will appear on Facebook and Instagram feed will be adjusted to the user's interest in the account. This personalization system is used so that users are interested in sharing or using this feature.

"We're testing the new content Meta AI generates on your Facebook and Instagram feeds, so you might see images from Meta AI created specifically for you (based on your up-to-date interests or trends)," Meta explained in its official broadcast.

When an AI-made photo appears on the feed, the user will see the name Meta AI as a photo uploader. Under the account name, the user will see a caption that reads, "Only you can see this (post)."

Meta AI will display several interesting photos, including photos that include the faces of account users. To see more photos, users only need to shift the screen, while to share photos, users can click the Share button.

Meta spokeswoman Amanda Felix told The Verge that AI photos, specifically with the user's face, need to be activated first. "(users should) join your Imagine Yourself feature on Meta, which includes adding photos to the feature."
