JAKARTA - The Indonesian Arena of Valor (AOV) tournament for the second season of this year, ASL 2024 Winter Powered by AXIS will begin on Saturday, September 21, with a new Swiss Stage format, and will be followed by 16 of the strongest teams in Indonesia.

Lasting for 3 weeks, the Swiss Stage round will be the preliminary towards the Playoffs and Grand Finals with a total prize of IDR 250 million.

With this format later, the team's journey will be determined by the running score obtained. So, the winning team will meet with a team that is equivalent to the same total winning points.

On the other hand, the losing team will also meet each other. However, the team that lost in three matches will automatically be eliminated from the tournament.

The Swiss Stage round will use the Best of 3 (BO3) scheme, and last for three weeks from 21 September - 6 October 2024. A total of 16 teams will compete online. From this round, only eight of the best teams were able to advance to the Playoffs round.

The 2024 Winter ASL Playoffs (Quarter Finals and Semi Finals) will take place on 11-13 October 2024 using the Double Elimination bracket format.

In the eighth Quarter Finals the team will compete using the Best of 3 (BO3) scheme and in the Semi Finals using the Best of 5 (BO5) scheme.
