JAKARTA - In May, Google presented AI Overviews on Google Search, starting from the United States. Now, the search giant has brought AI Overviews to six new countries, including Indonesia.

This tool will help users quickly find information and explore everything the web has to offer. And when you click on the link icon of the search results page with AI Overviews, the website will bring out more quality results.

Furthermore, in addition to the new right-hand view of the link for AI Overviews on desktop, you can also find this link on mobile devices by tapping the icon at the top right of the search results.

The update has begun to be rolled out globally for AI Overviews in all countries that have been launched, as well as for Google Search Labs users in more than 120 countries and regions.

Google also admits that it is testing the addition of direct links in its text, in addition to the main links that have been displayed. So that users can directly access the sites they are interested in.

During the test, Google admitted that this experiment had shown positive preliminary results. By displaying links to the web page of direct support within AI Overviews, this will increase traffic to the publisher site.

"We will continue to test various ways to provide the most useful information for users, while prioritizing approaches that direct traffic to relevant websites," he added.
