Jakarta- Google continues to expand their AI capabilities, Gemini, by adding deeper integration to popular apps like WhatsApp and Android notification systems. In the latest beta version of the Google app, several new extensions have been found that allow Gemini to handle various daily tasks more easily.

In the beta 15.34.32.29.arm64 version of the Google app, new settings were found that allow users to enable three new Gemini extensions: WhatsApp, Notifications, and Messages. While this extension is not fully functional, the official description gives an overview of the potential for future functionality.

The Message Extension allows Gemini to read and reply to messages via the Google Messages app. However, what's more interesting is the WhatsApp extension, which allows users to send messages, read messages, and even make WhatsApp calls with just voice commands. This can be a very interesting feature for WhatsApp users who want to rely more on AI to manage their communications.

Meanwhile, the Notification extension opens up new possibilities for Gemini. Imagine Gemini summarizing notifications received while you're busy, categorizing them on a level of interest, or even executing tasks based on notifications from certain apps.
