JAKARTA - Pertamina Jakarta Coach and player (SM), namely Youbel Sondakh and Juan Laurent, revealed a number of habits when celebrating Christmas with their families and closest people.

Quoted from ANTARA, Youbel said that his habits were not special and were even very common, but they must always be done, namely going to church and gathering with extended families.

In addition, on Christmas Eve, family members will usually exchange gifts to celebrate this special day.

However, he admitted that what he really missed was going to the homes of various other distant relatives at Christmas.

"This is rare because every year, during Christmas and new season tips are always close together, hopefully in the following years we can have time to visit them (far family)," said the coach/

The same thing was also conveyed by player number 10 of the team, Juan Laurent, while celebrating Christmas.

He said that celebrating a big day is a mandatory tradition. According to him, it would be very strange if he didn't go to church with his extended family on Christmas Eve.

"Yes, even though this year we only have one day off on Christmas (December 25) but I definitely take the time to meet family and girlfriends, because this moment is only once a year so there is nothing wrong with being spent with loved ones," he said.

The player from Bandung also has no problem with the day off quota given by the coach because there is still a lot that the team has to fix to navigate the 2025 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) which starts on January 11.

Juan hopes that, as a human and professional basketball player, he can become a much more mature person both on and on the field in the future.

"Yes, apart from that, of course, I and everyone hope that we can again lift the trophy, which has been separated from us for two years, amen," he said.
