Vivo has confirmed the launch date for its newest smartphone, the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G, which is part of a very popular Y series. This information was confirmed by Jia Jingdong, Vice President of the Vivo Brand and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, which also revealed key specifications and designs of the device.

Vivo Y300 Pro 5G comes with a set of advanced features that are usually found only in flagship phones. This device carries a 6.77-inch micro-quad-curve OLED screen with a brightness level of up to 5000 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use. The screen is also equipped with eye protection technology, including a blue and anti-strobe light screening feature, which has been certified by the National Ophthalmology Engineering Center and SGS.

One of the highlights features of the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G is the Blue Ocean battery with a capacity of 6,500mAh which can provide game playing time up to 12.1 hours with just a single charge. Despite having a large battery, this phone remains very thin with a thickness of only 7.69mm and is designed to last up to five years.

In addition, this device supports 80W cable charging, wireless charging, and back-to-back charging. Vivo's Extreme Graphite technology enables high energy efficiency by optimizing the battery structure for maximum capacity without increasing the battery's physical size.

In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. The rear camera design carries a lens module with a jade ring accent and a 360-degree solar texture, giving the impression of a flagship phone.

The phone also has a second-generation career mode aimed at professional use, such as online motorcycle taxi drivers, with hands-free call features improved, network optimization, and smart assistance during delivery assignments. Vivo Y300 Pro 5G is available in four elegant color choices: Titanium, Gold Illaid Jade, Mutton Fat White, and Black Jade Black.

Based on the Geekbench list, the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, equipped with 12GB of RAM, and running the Android 14. This device is the successor to the Vivo Y200 Pro which uses Snapdragon 695, which was launched last year.
