Threads Trial Feature Temporary Posting Features To A Number Of Small Users

JAKARTA - Threads, a social media platform made by Meta, is reportedly testing the temporary post feature, against a small number of users.

First reported by mobile app developer Alessandro Paluzzi earlier last month, this feature allows users to send a post, then the post will disappear automatically within 24 hours.

Last month, Paluzzi said that Threads was still developing the feature. But now, a Meta spokesperson confessed to TechCrunch that the feature is being tested.

Although the company did not provide any statement, the spokesman said that this was a new and casual way to share in Threads.

The company also did not reveal whether this experiment was a particular region or who could activate the new Threads feature.

Apparently, Meta was very serious in defeating Elon Musk's X platform, through the new features they developed for Threads.

Because, recently, Meta has also announced that it has rolled out a new feature into the web version of Threads, which will help users understand the performance of the content they create.

The first feature launched was Insight. This feature will feature metrics about content, such as the number of views, the number of interactions or replies obtained, the number of replays, to the number of citations in the posts made.

There is also a Draft feature, which allows users, whether creator or not, to write and save their writings as Draft before sharing.

In addition, there is also a schedule feature or Schedule, which allows users to create posts and schedule publication times. Users can schedule multiple posts in a day.

As we all know, all the new Threads features, are already available on platform X.
