JAKARTA - Skydance developer New Media has also revealed a company that will be its partner to publish its newest Marvel game title, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.

Based on its announcement, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be published by Plaion, a game publishing company owned by Embracer Group, formerly known as Koch Media.

"We are proud to partner with Skydance Games and industry legend Amy Hennig in one of the most anticipated AAA games right now in the development stage," Plaion CEO Klemens Kundratitz said in a press release citing Gematsu, Tuesday, July 30.

Furthermore, Kundratitz also said that the partnership between two ambitious independent companies is proof of Plaion's ongoing mission to become a global force in the issuance of video games.

Co-president Skydance Games Julian Beak added, We believe PLAION is the perfect publishing partner for the launch of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra worldwide and multiplatform.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an adventure game driven by narratives and features Captain America, Azzuri, Black Panther in the 1940s, Gabriel Jones from Howling Commandos, and Nanali, the Wakanda spy stationed in the Paris occupation area.

The game comes from the Skydance Games team led by award-winning industry icon Amy Hennig (Uncharted) and vice president Julian Beak.
