JAKARTA - Adobe has added many AI-based features to its app, and now there are more to come. This time, the company announced an update for its two popular software, Illustrator and Photoshop, in a new way to create and edit using artificial intelligence.

According to Adobe, this new feature will help "accelerate the daily creative workflow and provide more control to creators." 9to5Mac admitted that he had seen the demonstration of these new features firsthand.

For Illustrators, Adobe presents a Generative Shape Fill, which allows users to apply a detailed vector into shape by simply inserting a text command in the Contextual Taskbar.

Users can even use other elements in the same document as a basis for filling in new forms. Everything created by Generative Shape Fill will be vectorized so you can edit the content.

Another new feature is Mockup, which helps you visualize the final result of placing illustrations on real objects, such as clothes or packaging. With a single click, Illustrator analyzes objects and applies your illustrations to those objects according to the correct dimensions and perspectives.

There are other new features that come with these updates, such as the possibility of detecting font types from vectors or images and easily editing or replacing them. And with Text to Pattern, you can easily create a fully editable background for your project.

As for Photoshop, this application gets new features such as Selection Brug Tool and Adjustment Crash Tool to help workflow involving repeated tasks. There is also an improvement to the Type Tool and Contextual Taskbar, as well as an update to Adobe Firefly's latest version to generate content using AI.

Adobe notes that they don't train their AI on user projects unless users agree to share it on Adobe Stock.
