Rumors Circulate, IPhone 17 Will Come Out Slim Version In 2025

Rumors about the iPhone 17 have already begun to circulate even though the iPhone 16 has not been officially announced this year. There are rumors that Apple plans to launch a new model with higher features over Pro Max. It seems that this model will arrive in 2025. Some analysts report that the existing Plus model, which will be replaced by a new Slim model with a larger screen size and a much thinner body.

Jeff Pu analysts were the first to report on this change, and The Information later reported a Slim model, which states that it will be a new model with a higher feature that is above the Pro Max in the lineup and will have a smaller back camera and Dynamic Island.

Apple returned to a thin trend with the launch of the iPad Pro M4 in May. There are also rumors that Apple will launch a thinner Apple Watch and MacBook Pro in the coming months.

Apple usually announces a new iPhone line in September, usually on Tuesday in the second week of the month. It is estimated that the iPhone 17 will be announced around September 9, 2025.

Usually, iPhone pre-orders start on Friday after the announcement, and delivery is made a week later. However, some specific models may be sent a few weeks later due to production issues.

There is no definite information regarding the price of the iPhone 17 line, but it is estimated that the price will remain the same as the iPhone 15 line.

However, there are rumors that Apple will release a new model with a higher feature that may have a higher price than the iPhone Pro Max. Even so, it is estimated that the existing model will retain the same price.

There are no rumors about the colors of the iPhone 17. The iPhone 16 is expected to be launched in seven colors, with white and purple joining blue, pink, yellow, green, and black. In addition, there are desert yellow colors and cement gray which are reportedly similar to classic gold and gray space options.

All iPhone 17 models are rumored to have a 24MP front camera and the screen is always active which is finally available on non-Pro models. Some believe that ProMotion will also be present on non-Pro models, as the same LPTO technology that allows the screen to always be active is what allows ProMotion on Apple's iPhone implementation. If true, this will be the first time Apple has offered ProMotion on non-Pro devices.

Apple is also said to be working with Corning on the anti-light glass and holding a new scratch line for the iPhone 17 line.

It's not widely known about the chip that will drive the iPhone 17 line, but given Apple Intelligence's needs, it is estimated that each model will have at least 8GB RAM. The high-end model will get the A19 Pro, while the non-Pro model will get the A18 variant or the reduced A19 version.

For wireless connectivity, mobile modems will likely still be supplied by Qualcomm; Apple's own efforts to manufacture high-end 5G modems seem delayed and may not be ready on time for the iPhone 17 line next year. Wi-Fi 7 support also seems possible.
