Antihoax Task Force Partners With Noventiq For AI Training For Journalists

"Seeing this need, the Central PWI Antihoax Task Force is working with Noventiq, Microsoft's main partner, to hold a Copilot artificial intelligence understanding training for journalists in the near future," said Budi Nugraha, Head of the Central PWI Anti Hoax Task Force, Wednesday, July 17.

Microsoft Copilot is a platform that allows users to execute specific commands with specific instructions or questions. The order includes four main parts: goals, contexts, expectations, and sources. The more specific the command given to Copilot, the more accurate the results obtained.

By understanding the use of Copilot, journalists can work more effectively and efficiently. Copilot, which is integrated with Microsoft 365, makes it easier to search, data management, and fact-check as news supports.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the Central PWI, Raja Pane Parlindungan, Central PWI Treasurer, M. Nasir, as well as two representatives of Noventiq, Rizal Taufieq and Muhammad Mahdi. The Central PWI Antihoax Task Force team that was present included Wilson Lumy (Vice Head of Task Force), Tundra Meliala (Beharana), Ary Julianto (IT Coordinator), Umi Syarifah (Secretary), and Algooth Putranto (Research Coordinator).

Rizal Taufieq explained that the digital assistant with the support of artificial intelligence, Copilot, on the Windows 11 operating system has a significant advantage to facilitate the work of journalists. Copilot combines network contexts and intelligence with user work data, thus providing better support while still prioritizing privacy and security.
