JAKARTA NTT DATA, a global IT service provider, launched a large language model (LLM) called Tsuzumi. The model was launched through a Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) service from Microsoft Azure AI. Tsuzumi is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model developed in Japanese and English. The model is designed to address various environmental challenges and costs that companies usually face when developing LLM. Using Tsuzumi, the company can present advanced AI technologies, including a generating AI, into the application so that it can be accessed by more users. This LLM is claimed to be able to adapt easily. Yutaka Sasaki, President and CEO of NTT DATA Group Corporation, said that Tsuzumi's launch is a form of continued collaboration with Microsoft. This model has been adapted to NTT DATA and Microsoft's sustainability commitments.

"We are very pleased to continue the collaboration with Microsoft by integrating Tsuzumi into Microsoft Azure AI. This step not only strengthens collaboration, but also is in line with our commitment to creating a sustainable society," said Yutaka in a statement received by VOI. Meanwhile, Azure AI Corporate Vice President Platform Eric totals that Tsuzumi's launch is a Microsoft and NTT DATA's effort in empowering various companies. This model has been optimized with the cloud. "The launch of Tsuzumi in Microsoft Azure AI is a testament to our dedication to empowering companies around the world in utilizing AI's generating power through an optimized model for performance and price," said Eric. At the beginning of the launch Tsuzumi was only available on the Azure MaaS platform for companies in Japan. However, in the near future, the two companies plan to expand such integrations to more countries to develop worldwide.
