JAKARTA - The new REDMAGIC 9S Pro phone is the first phone outside of Samsung to feature an overclocked version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This gaming device comes with impressive features that are not found in most other Android flagships.
The overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is marketed by Samsung as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, is now present on more phones. The REDMAGIC 9S Pro of nubia is the first non-Galaxy device to use this chipset, with flagship features such as the main ARM Cortex-X4 CPU operating at 3.4GHz and the upgraded Adreno 750 GPU up to 1GHz. The REDMAGIC also offers Plus variants with similar specifications, but with a smaller battery of 5,500mAh, support for faster cable charging of 165W, RAM to 24GB, and onboard storage of up to 1TB. Both devices are also equipped with capacitive shoulder buttons for gamers.
The REDMAGIC also complements this device with a new R2 Pro in-house chip, which opens a variety of AI features in the latest versions of their Android skin custom REDMAGIC OS 9.5. These features include new gaming features that provide customized vibration, sound, and lighting effects, as well as tools useful for image manipulation, wallpaper creation, and more.
The REDMAGIC 9S Pro is available in China at prices ranging from 4,799 yuan (Rp9.8 million) for the 16GB/512GB model and reaching 6,999 yuan (Rp15.7 million) for the 24GB/1TB variant. The REDMAGIC has confirmed that it will launch the 9S Pro globally on July 16.
