Air Cooling Bocor Space Clothing, NASA Cancels Spacewalk Agenda On The Space Station

JAKARTA Several NASA astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) will perform spacewalks or out-of-station activities. This mission is given to carry out certain tasks. The 90th Spacewalk was supposed to be held on Monday, June 24. However, this task was canceled due to the spacesuits that were supposed to be used by Tracy Dyson and Mike Barratt's astronauts experiencing a cooling liquid leak. Initially, Dyson and Barratt had adjusted their clothes to battery power and opened the main airlock of the ISS at around 19:46 WIB. Once they realized the problem, the two astronauts provided reports on water problems in their clothes. At 19.52 WIB, Dyson and Baratt received a notification from Mission Control that the spacewalk had to be canceled. Shortly after the cancellation, the two astronauts opened the ISS entrance to end the spacewalk activities.

While NASA's Television broadcast was still going on, Dyson had said that the cooling water leak appeared to be coming from the Section of the Center for Service and Cooling (SCU) in those clothing. Despite this dangerous situation, the two astronauts were fine. I can see ice crystals flowing out there, and then, like snow engines, there is ice forming in the SCU port,''' Dyson said. Luckily, they were still in the hold with the open exit door when they realized the leak occurred. This is the second delay NASA made to the 90th Spacewalk mission. The first trip was delayed on June 13 with a different group of astronauts. At that time, the mission was canceled due to the discrepancy of the spacesuit. After Dyson and Barattt's mission was canceled, NASA has not revealed when they will hold the next spacewalk. The US state agency simply said that they would provide additional information in the near future.
