JAKARTA OpenAI announced it had acquired Rockset, a real-time analytic startup, to improve Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure.
This is the first integration that OpenAI has carried out since it was first established. The two companies did not disclose what acquisition requirements were listed in the contract or the nominal amount of its acquisition.
OpenAI in a statement, Friday, June 21, said Rockset provides a leading database that can index and query world-class data. This capability is urgently needed so that OpenAI can take advantage of data from the AI services they create. The plan is that Rockset technology will be integrated into all OpenAI products to facilitate data taking. In addition, several team members in Rockset will join OpenAI.
