Kim Sae Ron Reveals Plans To Return To Acting, Filming New Films Last Year

JAKARTA - Several things were revealed by Kim Sae Ron before he died. He was declared dead on Sunday, February 16 after the police received a report from his friend who arrived home.

A friend spoke to the media about the news that Kim Sae Ron, including his plans to return to the acting industry. It is known that Kim Sae Ron was involved in a drunken driving case that caused his driving license to be revoked.

Kim Sae Ron is also one of the public figures who is prohibited from appearing on a well-known television station in South Korea. Since then, he has reportedly worked in a cafe and plans to return to acting as revealed by a friend whose identity has not been disclosed.

In October 2024, Kim Sae Ron reportedly starred in the film Guitar Man. This film tells a band when recruiting singers and guitarists. Apart from Kim Sae Ron, actor Lee Sun Jung also plays this film.

The shooting process was reportedly completed last November and is entering the post-production stage.

I first met actress Kim Sae Ron at the script reading of Guitar Man. She was very shining. She's an excited person and we went to eat together. We talked a lot," said Guitar Man director Shin Jae Ho.

He said he worked hard for this project. He is very motivated to work in this environment. At the location, he feels like a senior compared to young people. Among the actors who appear in films, he has the most acting experiences and looks like an acting teacher," he said.

Shin Jae Ho revealed that many film staff contacted him to express their sadness and sorrow for the news.

She also practiced keyboards for her role in the film. She is a friend who loves music. We supported each other while filming so I couldn't believe this situation and was so sad," said Shin Jae Ho.

It is not yet known when the film Guitar Man will be released in theaters.
