Indonet Notes An Increase In Revenue Of Up To 27 Percent, Data Center Becomes The Main Driver

JAKARTA - PT Indointernet Tbk (Indonet), a leading digital infrastructure provider in Indonesia, revealed the results of the company's financial performance which successfully earned more than IDR 950 billion in revenue in 2023.

When compared to 2021, the company's revenue, which has been established for 30 years, increased by 27.2 percent, which only ranged from more than IDR 587 billion.

This growth is also still felt by Indonet in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, where during the January-March period, the company has managed to get more income of IDR 251 billion.

"So if we do spend a year the figure has exceeded the 2023 figure. And of course we are not only complacent, but we continue to make efforts to improve our work both in terms of finance and then from the marketing and operation side," said Director of Indonet, Donauly Situmorang in the Media Expose method on Wednesday, May 8.

Of this total, Indonet's revenue was largely driven by the Data Center segment, which contributed to revenues of Rp368.48 billion, an increase of 97.38 percent from Rp186.69 billion in the previous year.

The presence of data center EDGE 2 from Indonet which has a capacity of 23 MegaWatt or four times that of EDGE 1 with a capacity of 6 MegaWatt is also the main driver of the company's revenue growth.

"Not to mention we imagine 2024, we will serve from EDGE2, which has a capacity of 4 times the previous data center. So you can imagine that the company has designed a strategy," he added.

Then, followed by Cloud Services and Connectivity, with each pillar contributing Rp370.93 billion and Rp216.03 billion from the company's total revenue.

Donauly added that the Indonet connectivity segment has successfully served more than 4,200 retail customers and more than 3,000 corporate customers, covering various industries such as financial services, logistics, global cloud providers, e-commerce platforms, and others.

Among these, Indonet is also trusted to manage approximately 850 customers on cloud services.
