JAKARTA - CelIOS Digital Economy Observer Nailul Huda stated that technological advances have affected many sectors, including in the financial and economic sectors.

However, Nailul suggested that the development and utilization of artificial intelligence technology needs to be monitored very well, considering that Indonesia still has a low level of digital security.

"Data from the Ministry of Communication and Information shows that Indonesia has a low level of digital security compared to other countries in the ASEAN region," he said.

To improve digital security, according to Nailul, equitable infrastructure development is needed, as well as increased human resources (HR), especially in remote areas such as rural areas.

Therefore, socialization of digital security risks starting from the school level is very necessary. Thus, this is expected to increase public knowledge regarding the current cyber threat.

"Socialization of digital literacy is very important. We can develop socialization starting from schools," he said further.

Likewise, other aspects that must be considered by the government in equitable knowledge related to technology are infrastructure, increasing digital literacy, and private investment.

"By paying attention to these three aspects, it is hoped that Indonesia can improve its ability to deal with the development of digital technology, so that it can achieve the maximum benefits of this digital revolution," he concluded.
