JAKARTA - Online dating app Tinder announced the launch of a new feature called Share my Date, which allows users to share their dating schedule directly from the app.

Based on the screenshots shared, you will be able to send a link containing details of your dating plans including date names, meeting locations, dates, and times.

"At Tinder, we continue to release new features aimed at creating experiences that are fun, safe, and mutual respect for everyone," said CMO Tinder, Melissa Hobyy, in a statement, citing TechCrunch.

This feature is also one of Tinder's ways to maintain the safety of its users. Because the closest people like parents, friends, or relatives can find out about the dating plan.

"Share My Date simplifies sharing basic information so that singles can immediately switch to an interesting part, starting from finding out what to wear to preparing conversation topics," added Hobyy.

The Share My Date links shared can be seen by each recipient, including people who don't use the Tinder app either.

On the other hand, friends with Tinder accounts can see the full profile of the match, but they can't interact with it, including sending messages about the couple.

Meanwhile, those who are not Tinder users can only see limited profile versions in their browser, can only see photos, names, and ages of these couples.
