JAKARTA - Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd., has announced a company restructuring plan, where they claim to set up a new AAA game development studio.

We want to let you know that Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd., our group's main operating company, will undergo changes to the organization and personnel change," the company wrote in a letter found by Gamingbolt.

In the letter, Koei Tecmo said he would set up a new AAA studio as an independent project of existing plans to develop new big titles in the future.

However, the company hasn't disclosed this new name for the studio yet. What is clear, the new studio will be led by veteran producer Yosuke Hayashi, who has been involved in productions such as Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, Nioh, Fatal Frame, Hyrule Warriors, and more.

In addition, the company also mentioned that Hayashi, who also directed Metroid: Other M., will serve as vice president executive of the company's entertainment division.

Currently, Koei Tecmo's latest project is the Rise of the Ronin, which was developed by the studio Nioh and Ninja Gaiden Team Ninja, and published by PlayStation Studios specifically for PS5.

Following the game's launch, director Fumihiko Yasuda said the Ninja Team intends to build an open world structure for the action RPG with future projects.
