154 Thousand Customer Data Leaked, Biznet Gio Conducts Thorough Investigation

JAKARTA - On March 25, 154,091 Biznet Gio Cloud subscriber data was leaked on dark sites. This data leak is the second time that more than 380 thousand Biznet user data have been leaked.

In a warning given by the hacker who claims to be a person in Biznet, this data leak is a result of Biznet not removing the company's FUP policy.

Regarding the issue of this data leak, Biznet Gio finally stated that currently the Biznet Gio security team will immediately conduct a thorough investigation to take immediate action.

"Biznet Gio together with Biznet are currently collaborating closely with the Indonesian National Police to identify and take firm action against parties suspected of having stolen data," said the company's Corporate in a statement received by VOI.

Not only that, but Biznet Gio also took strategic technical steps to protect Biznet Gio's infrastructure and customer data, such as implementing two-factor authentication (2FA) to hinder unauthorized access.
