JAKARTA The Galaxy Ring, a smart ring made by Samsung, will be integrated with Samsung Food. With this integration, the wearable device can help users adjust their diet.

Samsung Food is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based application recognized by Samsung Next in 2019. This software is designed as an assistant that can help users in planning dishes.

Quoted from the ChoSun Biz report, Samsung deliberately connected the Galaxy Ring with a food recipe provider application so that users can make a diet plan based on the user's health information recorded by the smart ring.

The combination of these two products can work like nutritionists so that users can avoid mistakes when on a diet. Their health can also be maintained because the diet is carried out according to their body needs.

Interestingly, the integration of these two devices will also connect with Samsung's household appliances. An unnamed Samsung official explained that Samsung Food will create a menu based on Galaxy Ring data.

This is a very interesting idea. If this plan is successfully realized, the Galaxy Ring could be a useful Samsung device. The reason is, this ring is not only used as a health indicator, but also as a digital nutritionist.
