JAKARTA - Google Lens, an application with an Optical Character Recognition Tool (OCR), launched your Visual Search History feature. This feature helps users visit images that have been analyzed.

Previously, Lens never saved images that its users had entered. This image is only accepted by the system for analysis and can no longer be accessed afterwards. Therefore, the launch of this feature is very important.

This update can be seen in the special Lens application and Google app. Even though this application can save images, users don't have to worry about its security because the integration images from Google Photos and Circle to Search will not appear.

Google Lens search results can also be seen on the My Google Activity page. To access the feature, users must visit the myactivity.google.com website. When the page is open, users will see the Searched with Google Lens section.

This section used to only show signs that users had visited Lens. Now, users can download images that are visible for re-analysing. Although it looks less efficient, this feature is quite helpful.

This method is very useful if the user accidentally deletes an important photo or forgets where the photo is stored. They just need to visit the page, download, and use Lens again.

Visual Search History began rolling out on Thursday, March 7. If you haven't seen this feature in the Lens or Google app, you'll have to wait for a few weeks as this feature is still rolling out in stages.
